As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to drastically change the world we live in, we wanted to provide an update as to how it has affected Flying Doctor Telehealth (FDT).
We are pleased to advise that the FDT service has remained largely uninterrupted, although access to appointments has changed to better suit the circumstances of our partner clinics and clients.
With many of our partner clinics closed, FDT has become available for clients to access at home. We have been working with our partners, clients and clinicians to make this process as smooth as possible. Our support officers have also been on-hand to guide clients through the set-up process. We are happy to say we have received an overwhelmingly positive response from our partners and clients so far. We hope we can continue to grow to support regional communities in accessing health services as easily as possible.
